Description

Good C19th walnut and leather revolving desk chair of generous proportions; the horseshoe shaped back with a raised, curved backrest and swept arms supported on ring turned tapering supports. The substantial padded circular seat with a reeded seat frame below raised on four swept legs with scroll feet and original castors. Upholstered in deep buttoned red leather which is enhanced by appropriate fading and has a good patina. The chair revolves and is very comfortable. This is a good quality 19th Century chair, not to be compared to mass produced reproductions.
