Andrew Cox Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
To the body are twin bands of decoration, echoed on the shoulders. The maker's are Swatkins, now widely known for making trophy and award items in quality silver plate. Back in the earlier part of the 20th Century their stock was more diverse to include such fashionable items as this. A great piece, still usable today. Dimensions below.
