Description

A fabulous pair of silver mounted casters from the Regency period. These delightful examples have cylindrical bodies with an applied neck ring and fluted cutting to the lower half. There is a band of hobnail and slice cutting to the bodies and shoulders. The pull-off lid is hallmarked and has a domed, pierced top and ball finial. A wonderful example from the Georgian dining table, both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.
