Very attractive French antique Kingwood Bonheur Du Jour in excellent condition & polished on the back too. The gilt bronze mounts are really nice with classical figures & faces on some of them. The use of the kingwood pattern is quite striking. There are painted porcelain plaques on the doors & there is a pull out writing surface in the middle. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine features. I would date this piece to around the 1930’s period. The top cabinet section just lifts off for easy transportation.
