Georgian Satinwood Armorial Shooting Stick

Description

This wonderful quality GEORGIAN SHOOTING STICK, with SATINWOOD SEAT and FAUX BAMBOO shaft, dates from circa 1830.

It is engraved with an ARMORIAL CREST - a LION RAMPANT holding an AXE.

The STICK has a beautiful folding mechanism which works very smoothly. It is in good condition and is a lovely, rich colour with good patination.

Maximum dimensions:

Height: 33.75 inches (86 cm)

Width: 12 inches (30 cm)

Depth: 4.5 inches (11 cm)
