An excellent mid-Victorian period mahogany chest with an unusual arrangement of drawers. Very well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. Rather than the usual configuration of 2 short over 3 long drawers, this chest has 3 short over 3 long drawers. The top two left hand side drawers are single height but the top right hand drawer is double depth. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a rich colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
