Unusual Antique Silver Thistle Bookmark 1911

Description

This unusual ANTIQUE SILVER BOOKMARK was made by the well-known and sought after silversmiths of Crisford & Norris in 1911.

The Silver Bookmark has a superbly embossed end in the form of a Thistle and the bookmark has not been engraved with a previous owner’s initials or family monogram.

The body of the Bookmark has been impressed with a full set of English solid sterling silver hallmark and is in excellent condition despite being almost 110 years old.

This Superb Silver Book or Page Marker would make a superb addition to any collection or a gift that can still be used today.

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Dimensions:

Length – 5.0” (125mm)

Weight – 8.7gm / 0.28ozt
