Fine Victorian mahogany bookcase

This fine Victorian mahogany bookcase was made circa 1870 in one of the best workshops of the day.

The quality of the timber chosen as well as other refinements puts this of the quality of the best cabinetmakers of the day.

The bookcase is of a size that will enable you to fit in most places around your home.

It is in 2 parts consisting of the double-glazed door bookcase top and the 2-door cupboard base below.

To the side of each door are delightful carved corbels.

The figured mahogany fielded panel doors have arched quadrant corners.

The bookcase stands on a plinth base.
