Georgian Mahogany Adjustable Reading Table. Circa 1810

18th century
Description

Pretty Georgian mahogany reading table with tilt up top and is adjustable in height with rod through column with brass locking collar at top of column. The oblong top inlaid with ebony line and has removable book rest. Fitted with mahogany lined drawer under top. Raised on well turned column onto swept tripod legs. All brass mechanisms are original and work perfectly. All in fine condition. Lovely rich colour with good waxed patina.

Size; top 19" x 14". 29" high closed.
