Description

An attractive and good quality 'Smoker's Bow' armchair, dating from the late 19th Century. It has a comfortable wide and deep seat with broad arms, turned spindles and thick turned legs joined by a double stretcher.

It is approximately 31" (79cm) high. The seat is 19" (49cm) deep and it is 25" (63cm) wide across the arms.

It is in good condition for its age. It has developed a nice aged patina and is a strong and sturdy chair. There has been a small repair below one of the arms (see photo) and the chair is not without a few small marks and signs of age and use but no major damages and nothing detrimental. The grain is wonderful and it displays very nicely.
