Late 18th Century Brass Inlaid Mahogany Single Wardrobe

Description

A French Louis XVI brass inlaid single armoire of superb quality, with original mercury glass mirror plate , fielded panes to the sides and a single drawer to the base all standing on small brass and mahogany legs. Fitted with shelves , a brass rail could be fitted if required. An unusual piece to find this is the first one I’ve come across normally dating from the late 19th Century. Wonderful condition and colour.
