A Superb 19th Century Rosewood & Walnut Centre Table

Description

An exquisite 19th Century Portuguese rosewood and walnut centre table raised on graduated bobbin turned legs and bobbin turned stretchers. This is a very high quality antique table, the beautifully grained and richly coloured rosewood top is surrounded by decorative carving which is repeated on the frieze. This decorative frieze has two opening drawers to the front and dummy drawers to the sides and back. All the drawers have attractive open fret brass escutcheons. The table is in very good condition and is very stable. The small dimensions and superb proportions of this outstanding centre table make it easy to place in any interior.
