An impressive Japanese Meiji period satsuma pottery vase of balster form with an incredibly detailed & busy continuous scene hand painted around the middle depicting many people in a park celebrating the cherry blossom, old and young pursuing all sorts of activities. This charming vase has decorative teal borders at the top and bottom with beautiful gilt highlights and is signed Kozan on the underside, it comes with its original wood stand and is in excellent condition with typical very minor rubbingon top of the rim; the vase on stand measures 12 inches tall.
