Description

Superb quality mahogany music cabinet dating from the early 20th Century. It is a large piece with a long drawer over two cupboard doors opening to reveal 10 sheet music drawers that pull out. Below this are 6 open shelves. It offers a lot of versatile storage, suitable for not only music but files and documents. It is a very elegant piece with a beautiful patina, brass beading and a pierced brass gallery.

It is in excellent condition and displays beautifully. The inside is generally clean and tidy and there are no major damages. There are minor signs of age and use, some light marks and surface scatches but nothing detrimental. There has been a repair to a back leg at some point in its life and a wooden bracket has been fixed to the back of one of the open shelves to support it (see photo). It is a good repair and the leg is strong and sturdy and nothing to concern us.
