Description

Waltham full hunter pocket watch, 1918.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Equity grade, which is working nicely. The nicely patterned movement is signed with the Waltham name and the serial number 21,793,974 dates it back to 1918. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, Dennison made the majority of the cases for Waltham UK. The case is in good condition, just minor surface marks but nothing too detrimental.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in lovely condition. The signed enamelled dial has one short hairline over number 7 but it is faint. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
