Description

Early 20th.c. bothy type small leather sofa and armchair c.1920. Low sprung backrests with decorative brass studwork above roll-over arms and sprung seats with generous feather filled seat cushions. With a repeat of the brass studwork to the front of the arms and raised on turned bun feet. The backrests, arms, sides and rear of both pieces retain the original leather upholstery with a few minor repairs but worn to a beautiful patina. Replacement leather to the fronts of both below the seats and with new suede panels to the inner sides of the armchair. Cushions have been freshly upholstered in soft black velvet chenille. Very comfortable with plenty of support in the seats. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops
