Description

Early 20th.c. brass cased ship’s clock by the celebrated US maker Seth Thomas c.1910. 4½" deep brass case with a wide hinged bezel and convex glass. Original silvered dial with Roman numerals and separate seconds dial. 8 day spring driven works striking on the hour and half hour. Mounted on a circular oak plaque with moulded edge. Very good condition, runs well and keeps good time though the chime is a bit erratic.

Dimensions: overall diameter 10", depth 6", diameter of bezel 7¾".
