Description

For your consideration is this rather stylish 1930's Gents German watch made by Porta. An oblong dial in gold tone with gold plated case with slight coppery tones is held by a dark brown leather watch strap, the strap is a later addition. In good original condition measuring 39 x 22 mm without the crown. The back is signed PORTA, walzgold 20 mikron 14K double, boden edelstahl. the crystal is original and without scratches, the back of the watch is unmarked and free from engravings. The dial reads PORTA 15 rubis antimagnétique. Inside runs the manufacture caliber Pforzheimer Uhrenwerke PUW 500 which is provided with the PUW logo. It is running strong, winding and setting well and keeping good time having been recently serviced March 2019.

The watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. Lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. The case back is free of any engravings, shows very minor wear.
