A good quality French four glass mantel clock. The original case gilding with bevelled glass panels. An enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands and a visible escapement. An 8-day duration mechanism by Marti of Paris striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1880.
