Description

Superb Arts & Crafts oak hall cupboard or wardrobe by the celebrated London makers and retailers Liberty & Co. c.1910. Of distinctive design, the sides tapering as they rise toward the broad overhanging cornice. With an open shelf for hats over a single door cupboard fitted with a brass hanging rail and hooks. Additional revolving hooks to the underside of the cornice. Short panels to each side of the door inlaid with a heart shaped flower head motif with pewter centre. Retaining the original handle and stamped for Liberty & Co. London inside the door. Some minor damage to the right hand inlaid panel, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
