Description

A fabulous antique English bread basket is silver plate by the well renowned silversmith, James Dixon and Sons.

The shaped basket has a pierced or reticulated border and two grand looking Lion's head ring handles.

The underside is where the full makers mark can be found. Dating to c.1910, it remains in excellent condition measuring 12 1/2" X 6 5/8" X 3 1/2" tall at either end.
