A Superb Sheraton Revival Oval Center Table

Raised on square tapered legs, held together by a crinoline stretcher and terminating in brass castors, above is a frieze and a top of segmented and radiating satinwood. The whole table is elaborately and beautifully decorated in polychrome paint decoration featuring garlands of flowers, harebells and ribbons and rather extraordinarily 6 miniature portraits of classical figures surrounding a central oval panel of cherubs. In very good condition. 760mm high, 1000mm wide and 760mm deep. Circa 1910.
