Description

A truly grand and fine quality jewellery box made from English sterling silver with a full hallmark for London 1911. The makers mark is present for the top-notch silversmith, Elkington and Company.

The casket is adorned with the most exquisite and finely executed Celtic themed mounts and two swing handles, one either side.

The box comes complete with a Bramah lock and key; the key is turned clockwise to enable the lid to lifted; this is the type of box where the lid closes and automatically locks, so the key must never be left inside the box!

Exquisite style, quality and condition measuring 8 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" tall. A good heavy piece weighing 1048.8 Grams / 33.72 Troy Ounces.
