Long slim door to the body over a short plinth with further ogee mouldings, raised panel and shaped feet. Attractive brass face with separate chapter ring engraved with a simple fleur de lis (or three feathers?) detail between the numerals, and elaborate pierced spandrels. Further engraved detail to the centre and named for W.Hough of Wrexham. Early 19th.c eight day brass works c.1800, stamped for Wilson of Birmingham. Striking the hours on a bell and with period cast iron weights and brass bob pendulum. Note the date display is unfortunately no longer working.

Case has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops. The works have also been cleaned and overhauled and are sold with a 12 month guarantee. Winding key supplied.
