Carved Giltwood Standard Lamp C.1930.

1920 - 1940
Description

Unusual giltwood standard lamp c.1930. Bulb raised on a wooden faux candle on an elaborately carved and gilded column torchere. With acanthus detail and two upholstered sections in silk brocade with tassel braid. On a wide base for stability. Good condition with original gilding. Some marks and wear to the fabric. Rewired in our workshops and sold with a PAT test certificate.

Dimensions: height to bulb 67", diameter at base 14".
