The front panel of brass is pierced or reticulated with engraved detail and "Post" & "Delivery", harping back to a civilized day when a member of the household staff would collect any contents and either take for mailing or to be delivered by hand.
Excellent condition measuring 9 1/2" x 4" x 7 1/2" tall at rear.
