This is a wonderful example of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Longines.This is the high beat calibre 431 fully automatic chronometer movement accurate to within 2 seconds per day.The fully restored dial is in superb condition. It has its original Longines winding crown and screw down back.It has just been professionally serviced and a new glass has been fitted. The heavy solid stainless steel case has been professionally polished so is pristine.As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.It comes complete with a brand new quality black leather strap.Longines are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.The watch case is oversize and measures 37.5mm in diameter not including the crown.Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and probably the best of this model we have ever come across and highly sought after by collectors The watch has been fully serviced. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping.
