It is in good condition with a lovely rich patina. It is strong and sturdy and the drawer opens well.
There have been some repairs, restorations and alterations over its life including the drawer being re-built. The handles are also later replacements although in keeping with the style and period of the piece. It is possible the feet would have originally been slightly longer or stood on a ball but it doesn't detract from the overall look of the table.
It has been cleaned and given a light wax and is ready for use. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
