Antique English Sterling Silver Card Case - Angels - 1898

A wonderful solid sterling silver card case, the front featuring three adorable angels or winged cherub / putti figures, among the clouds.

The hinge lid works well, this is where the full English hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1898, a true Victorian example. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith, William Needham.

Excellent condition measuring 4" x 2 7/8".
