Antique 18th Century Oak Lowboy with Fretwork Frieze

Description

A superb country oak lowboy in very original condition dating from the mid to late 18th century. It stands on square chamfered legs with a wonderful pierced fretwork frieze below the drawers. Each drawer has its original small brass handle.

It is in excellent original condition with a beautiful rich patina. The table is strong and sturdy and the drawers open well. There are normal light signs of age and use, a few marks and stains on the top and a small chip on the underneath of one corner and a small old split on a piece of fretwork but nothing detrimental and overall it is a good honest table.

The table has been cleaned and given a light polish and is ready for use. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
