Antique Lacquered Chinoiserie Lamp Stand

Description

Antique lacquered chinoiserie lamp stand in good original condition dating from around the 1910-20’s period. These chinoiserie items were very popular around that period & were a revival of the fashion that originally dated to the Queen Anne period. Basically, they were English made items decorated with Chinese themes. This lamp stand is a vey nice example with various Chinese influenced decorations on a black background. Most of the decoration is on the base & above that is a fluted column. This lamp stand will be rewired & in working order before going out.
