The set of tools comprising a shovel, pair of tongs, and a poker. Each with a substantial handle, the top with rising scrolls enfolding a reeded domed finial.
The shanks with ring knopped centres, the shanks running to the poker, pair of tong nips, and the arcaded bell shaped shovel, with raised sides and a floral scrolled centre.
The tools are substantial and very good quality.
Height 32 inches, 81cm.
Width 6 1/2 inches, 17cm.
Depth 2 1/2 inches, 7cm.
Date c 1840.
