The square topped mahogany pedestal with a stepped and rounded mould edge, the underside with inlaid dentil decoration.

The column with a rounded, concave and stepped plinth base.

The whole inlaid with chequered ropetwist stringing, surrounding re-entrant cornered boxwood line inlays.
