A handsome chunky and highly sought-after Coddington magnifying glass made from solid brass with a turned Ebony wooden handle.

A good early example dating to c.1820, it remains in superb condition with wear commensurate with age having a strong clear lens. 5" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4".
