Description

A fine quality set of 8 mahogany Chippendale Revival dining chairs including two carver armchairs. Each chair having a fine acanthus carved top rail with extremely delicately pierced ribbon back splats which feature carved thistle detail. The armchairs having serpents heads on the arms, generous seats and supported on finely carved cabriole supports with pad feet. English/Scottish circa 1890

Dimensions: Carvers 38" high x 25" wide x 21" deep Stands 38" high x 23" wide x 20" deep (seat heights 18")

Condition: This set of chairs are in excellent condition, a lovely colour and patination. The fabric is in good order, but some sunlight fading to a few seats.
