Antique Victorian Welsh Oak Spinning Chair

Description

Antique Victorian Welsh oak spinning chair, which I believe is so named because they used to sit on these chairs when using a spinning wheel. This one is solid oak, carved on the back & seat, with turned barley twist legs joined by cross stretchers. It’s in lovely original condition & dates roughly from the 1880’s period.
