Gents 9ct gold Waltham wrist watch, 1933.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, grade 361, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 27,876,606 dates it back to 1933.

The watch measures 31mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9ct gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1933 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company, supplier of cases to Waltham UK. Overall the case is in good condition for such an early piece, a small “ding” to the edge of the case back and light surface marking from use but nothing serious at all.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed white enamel dial is in lovely original condition with the red number 12 being a handsome feature.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
