Andrew Cox Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The enamel is the most gorgeous amethyst colour with intricate floral details and geometric designs. The brush bristles are mounted in wood and are clean and complete. The comb is mounted with silver which is gently planished in decoration. The box features a brass clasp to the front, with the lid hinging up and the front folding down for easy access. Condition :- Very good with no dents or splits to the silver. The enamel is free from chips or loss. There are two small shallow indents to one side of the silver comb. The box is in original condition with the expected wear to the interior commensurate with age and use.
