Description

A Louis XVI Style kingwood & rosewood marquetry inlaid marble topped commode. The rouge serpentine marble top above the three oak lined drawers with serpentine fronts and finely cast ormolu handles and escutcheons. Having finely cast ormolu mounts and sabots to the corners and beautiful floral marquetry inlay to the serpentine ends. French circa 1880

Dimensions: 45" wide 21" deep x 34" high

Condition: This commode is in superb condition, a wonderful colour and patination. There are some old repairs to the marble top
