Hand of Glory has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is very serviceable with only a few tiny spots on one arm which are not noticeable unless you look very closely, otherwise very clean. The seat is comfortable with good springs and no lumps or bumps. One of the back legs has an old repair.

This type of Victorian chair with iron framed back are generally of very good quality. The iron backs have a certain amount of spring which makes them extremely comfortable.
Although the fabric is good I can arrange to have the chair re-covered by my upholsterer if required. Please contact me for further details.
78cm high, the seat measures 51cm wide at the front, 38cm deep and is 34cm high.
