English Sterling Silver And Crocodile Skin Hip Flask - 1929

A handsome English sterling silver hip or liquor flask made from sterling silver and the upper half wrapped in Crocodile skin with a lovely cognac colour with a good patina.
 
The collar and hinged lid are made from sterling silver as is the removable drinking cup fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1928/1929. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith, F Burton Crosbee.
 
A truly good sized flask in excellent condition measuring 5 5/8'' x 3 3/8'' x 1 1/4''.
