Description

Antique silver fusee pocket watch, 1868.

The watch has a fusee (chain driven) movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by a fitted inner cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London 1868, there are maker's marks but they are rubbed and illegible. The case has a few minor marks but overall the condition is very acceptable for such an early piece.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The enamel dial has a couple of chips by the subsidiary seconds dial and three short hairlines also coming from the sub seconds dial. The sub dial is slightly more sunken on one side.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
