Description

Small late 19th.c. Black Forest hunting trophy c.1890. Featuring a set of Chamois horns on a small wooden plaque carved with an oak leaf spray with acorns and a shield. Initialled F.D in ink on the scull and inscribed Schwarzach (a town in Western Austria) and dated Oct 8. Unfortunately the year is largely missing. Note the use of the use of the English abbreviation rather than the German Okt. Good original condition.
