Description

A Pair of 18th Century Delft Tobacco Jars.

Each jar with the original brass finial topped cover. The covers spreading to a stepped and raised rim. The jars with an outward swept rim and waisted neck, above the generously rounded bodies, tapering to a small rounded foot rim. The jars titled 'TABAC DE ST VINCENT' and 'TABAC DE STRASBOURG'. The titles within rising leaf borders.

Height 15 1/2 inches, 39cm (including covers).

Diameter 10 inches, 25cm.
