Description

1930s open faced pocket watch, Enfield.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled and it has engine turned detail to the back and a central cartouche with initials. There are a couple of small pin prick “dings” to the back but nothing too serious at all.

The watch glass has very minor marking, again nothing serious.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, James Beaven of Enfield. There are a few hairline cracks to the enamel dial but they are difficult to see with the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
