A Pair of George III Bronze Lions Rampant.

Each lion with an extravagant mane, the beasts counter facing, looking over their right and left shoulders respectively. Each rising on their hind legs, their front paws raised to the fore, as their tails curl over their backs. The lions mounted on a rectangular black marble plinth with a stepped edge.

Date c 1770.

Height 12 1/2 inches, 31cm.
