Art Deco Engine Turned Sterling Silver Picture Frame by Mappin and Webb

Description

A very smart and elegant photograph frame with engine-turned decoration, this frame is the perfect example for either a lady or gentleman and would suit both a traditional or modern decor.

Art Deco in era and made from sterling silver, there is a full English hallmark for London 1937 together with the maker's initials for the well renowned silversmith, Mappin and Webb.

The back is made from solid Oak and incorporates a folding easel stand, two-way, allowing the frame to be used in both a portrait or landscape configuration; this is always a popular and highly sought after feature making it very flexible and usable.

Excellent condition measuring 8" tall x 5 1/2" with a glazed aperture measuring 7" x 4 1/2".
