Georgian Somerset Fruitwood & Elm Windsor Chair. Circa 1820

Description

Stunning early 19th, century Somerset comb back windsor armchair in fruitwood ( cherry?) and elm seat. Lovely out curved arms with circular pads to ends. Well turned front and back legs united with plain turned stretchers. All in fine un-touched original condition. Superb rich colour with great patina. It glows. As good of its type as you get.

Size; 38" high, 26" across arms, 22" deep. 18" high seat.
