8 Seater Extending Chinese Chippendale Style Dining Table C.1920.

Description

Handsome Edwardian era mahogany dining table c.1910. Extending on a corkscrew mechanism from 56" to a maximum length of 96" with two additional leaves, to comfortably seat 8 people. Solid mahogany top with rounded ends and carved detail to the edge. Raised on Chinese Chippendale style square pillar legs with carved edges, moulded block feet and the original castors with ceramic wheels. Unusual carved and pierced brackets where the legs join the frame. A couple of impressed marks to the table top, only really obvious when they catch the light. Otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Winding handle supplied.
