Description

A fine 17th century carved chest of drawers, constructed from oak this chest has fantastic colour and patination. The drawers are finely carved with swirling acanthus type patterns with flower heads central on the three larger drawers, the drawers have gilt brass cherub head drop handles.

The sides have plain duel panels and to the base a molded trim with bun feet below.

This is a superb chest and of good proportion, its has had some restorations all commiserate with age. Overall condition excellent.
